The Ministry of Health would like to inform the general public that the Mass H. Pylori Screening Program in Thimphu Thromde will resume on 1st June 2022 and shall continue until 20th July 2022.
Therefore, all eligible individuals aged 18-75 years can collect the stool sample container from JDWNRH or the respective sample collection sites in your area as per the following schedule. The stool samples should be reached back to the respective sample collection sites for testing within 2 days of collecting the sample.
Individuals testing positive for H. pylori infection will receive a call from the health team and be given the H. pylori eradication therapy (triple therapy for 14 days).
