Dr. Ugyen Tshomo currently works as Gyne Oncologist in JDWNRH. She received her MBBS degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab, India(1985) and PG in Obstetrics and Gynecology (1988). Besides working as Gyne Oncologist, she is a member of SAARC federation of Oncologist (SFO), International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) and European Society of Gynecologic Oncologist (ESGO). She is also the principal investigator for Population Based Cancer Registry in Bhutan since July 2014.
