Dr Tashi Tobgay received his undergraduate in BSc Honours in Pharmacy from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen Scotland, UK and Masters in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of South Australia. He did his PhD. from the Thammasat University, Thailand. He worked in various capacities including program Manager for Vector borne Disease control Program and as the head of the pharmacy of the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital of Bhutan. His research interests are in malaria and vector borne diseases, health systems and Social issues. Dr. Tashi is the Executive editor for Bhutan Health Journal and Vice Chair for Research Ethics Board for Health in Bhutan.  He also worked as the Registrar at Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences Bhutan. He has published various scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters both in modern and traditional medicine.
