Sangay C Namgyel is a senior lecturer and the program leader of the clinical counseling program at the faculty of Nursing and Public health under Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB). She has been in the psychosocial and counseling field for over 13 years and holds a masters degree in counseling from the University of Queensland in Australia .She is a National trainer for Substance Use Disorder and also an internationally certified addiction professional(ICAP 1). She holds one of the five mental health helpline numbers in the country and provides psychosocial and counselling services to the general population .
